Greg Carbone To Retire From AEI Corporation

After 21 years with AEI Corporation, Greg Carbone will retire on December 31st, 2022.
The following is a message from Pete Arnold, president and CEO.

Greg started with AEI in November of 2001 but had a relationship with our company way before that. After moving to California from Boston, he eventually found his way to work at a patio shop in South Orange County.  While there, his infectious personality led him to being the number one grill salesperson, and a promoter of many of our products.  His success was noticed by Ducane Gas Grill company who hired him to help them build sales by becoming the West Coast Regional Manage, one of his customers happened to be AEI Corporation.

On September 11th, 2001, Greg was at the Chicago Merchandise Mart when news of the tragic events of that day unfolded. It was there that George Speicher and Greg connected. No visitors at the show were permitted in, so George and Greg had plenty of time to talk. Within a few days, George offered Greg the position of account executive for Orange County, starting with AEI in November 2001.

Over the years, Greg has been willing to do whatever it takes to build sales for our products.  Trade Shows (I think one of his plans is to write a book as to how to work them), calling on existing customers in Southern California, Oregon, Washington, and Texas, as well as adding many new customers who simply loved working with him.

He will work hard in these next three months to ensure that we have a great transition to his replacement.  We wish him nothing but the best, knowing that this will give him time to work on some of his other passions which will likely include golf, occasional trips to Del Mar, and perhaps another opportunity for us to see him on stage.

Congratulations Greg on a job well done!
