South African shade manufacturer Woodline has appointed a team to serve and develop the North American market for the 2017/18 season. The company also announces that inventory will be held in the US for fast delivery in the 2017/18 season and the company will launch their range at the Casual Furniture market in Chicago in September.
Woodline is the principle supplier of umbrellas to the African market and has been manufacturing shade systems for 27 years with many European and International customers. Industry veteran Kathleen Poppe Ferry has joined the company as Sales Manager and joins Anita Ueckermann who is Woodline’s new American markets business manager.
Kathleen has two decades of experience in sales management positions with Gloster, Barlow Tyrie and Emu as well as sales repping experience with Tropitone and will be based in New Jersey. Anita, who has worked in Europe and Africa in management and marketing roles, is based in Jeffrey’s Bay in South Africa where Woodline has its large manufacturing plant.
Woodline was founded by their German CEO and owner Fritz Walter who lives in Jeffrey’s Bay where he oversees the production at Woodline’s brand new factory and all company operations and developments. Charles Vernon, retired former Gloster CEO, is assisting Woodline with its development.
