Wittus Among 14 Finalists at the Wood Stove Decathlon

WASHINGTON, DC - Wittus will be competing in the Wood Stove Decathlon in Washington, DC, this week as one of 14 finalists. Those who will be in the Nation’s Capital can see Wittus’ Twinfire in action at the National Mall.
The Smithsonian Metro Stop at 12th & Jefferson Drive SW is the center of the festivities this week for the Decathlon, a competition that challenges teams to design and build wood stoves that are low-emission, high efficiency, innovative and affordable. Ten judges will test and assess the 14 finalists’ stoves and announce a winner on November 19.
Finalists will be on display during the following dates and times:
• Nov 16 -19, 9:30 AM - 5 PM
Attendees will see the most advanced wood stoves in the world and get a chance to visit the interactive exhibition of products and ideas. Talks and panel discussions with the nation’s leading stove experts are available.
