BIRMINGHAM, AL - The venerable Winston Furniture Company is celebrating its first four decades with a new 2015 transitional style Collection dubbed Sloane Square. The new collection (designed by John Caldwell and pictured upper left) features a wide, multi-dimensional aluminum extrusion.

This complete collection includes high-back deep seating and dining pieces. Exceptional cushion tailoring incorporates a two tier pillow back for soft supporting comfort. Cushion welting offers coordinating fabric options for a custom finish. It is also available in sling and woven buckets.

All Winston Furniture is created from non-rusting aluminum. Whether the frames are extruded (hollow tubes of aluminum formed and welded) or solid cast, raw materials are of the highest grade and meet industry standards for commercial use. Heliarc welding processes are utilized which ensure the strongest welds possible for aluminum joints.

Winston’s manufacturing facility includes an on-site aluminum foundry where all cast aluminum components are created. This eliminates outside vendors who most other manufacturers rely upon for their cast furniture. Winston is able to closely monitor the quality of the castings and ensures that the aluminum used in the casting process is pure aluminum.

As part of a remarkable 40 years in the business, Winston won the first-ever Manufacturer Leadership award given by the leading association in the casual furniture industry. Winston has won this coveted award six times and has been a finalist 12 times.
