Walker Edison Meeting Demand for Outdoor Room Furnishings

SALT LAKE CITY - The “outdoor room” is the new favorite room of the home. It’s a backyard spot where everyone gathers to spend time together, which is why outdoor entertaining continues to be the fastest growing category in the home furnishings industry. Walker Edison is meeting the demand for outdoor room furnishings by expanding their outdoor offerings.
New for this market, Modern Oasis is a four-piece Conversation Set featuring a blend of modern and traditional styling. It has brushed stainless steel frames with curved polysynthetic teak accents and contrasting stylish dark cushions. The set consists of two loveseat sofas, a lounge chair and coffee table.
The popular Boardwalk Seating group, originally available in a textured black finish cast aluminum frame, is now also available in a four-piece Sectional Set with a trendy Weathered Grey finish frame. This set includes two loveseat sofas, a chair and a cocktail table.
Also new for the Boardwalk group are a Patio Bench with Folding Table and three, four or five-piece Dining sets. To coordinate with the seating group, the bench and dining sets are constructed of powder coated aluminum and polysynthetic wood. The patio bench can seat up to three people.
The design allows users to quickly and easily convert the bench into seating for two with a convenient built-in folding drink table. The three-pc. Dining Set has table and two dining benches, the four-piece Dining Set includes a table, two dining chairs and a dining bench and then the five-piece Dining Set has a table and four dining chairs. The Boardwalk Bench and Dining groups are available in Natural/Black or Weathered Grey finishes.
Patio umbrellas are popular choices to add a little shade to the Outdoor Room. To anchor the patio umbrellas to the dining table or add shade to seating groups, Walker Edison has two new umbrella bases. The Mod Trellis base in antique bronze or black features durable and long lasting polyresin construction with powder-coated finish for rust and weather resistance. They have interchangeable sizing inserts and adjustable tightening knobs.
