BALDWIN PARK, CA - Three decades of success is a reason to celebrate, and Treasure Garden, a venerable manufacturer of outdoor umbrellas, shade, and accessory products, will pay tribute to their illustrious history with a kick-off Anniversary Gala.

The festivities are set for Wednesday, September 18, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., during the 2013 International Casual Furniture and Accessories Market. Treasure Garden will host the 30th Anniversary Gala in their showroom, #1655 of the Chicago Merchandise Mart. The theme for the Gala, and the year-long celebration, will be “Pearl,” the symbol for the 30th anniversary.

“We are excited to share our 30th anniversary celebration with our retail partners and industry friends that have made this all possible” said Margaret Chang, COO, Treasure Garden, Baldwin Park, Calif. “The Gala is just the beginning of our company’s recognition of its 30-year history that will include special marketing materials and showroom displays.”

As the symbol for the 30th year, pearls will be found front and center throughout the anniversary observance, including a specially handcrafted 9-foot pearl umbrella that will be on display during the market. One of the Treasure Garden showroom window displays also will be dedicated to the 30th anniversary with a trio of mini pearl umbrellas.

“Our marketing materials have been designed to recognize the 30th anniversary and the pearl theme in a unique way,” said Jeff B. Dorough, vice president, Sales and Marketing, Treasure Garden. “The cover of our catalog (pictured) is crafted of a special pearl-esque paper stock and showcases an embossed pearl graphic encircling the Treasure Garden logo in the center-front position.”

The marketing materials will debut at the International Casual Furniture and Accessories Market being held September 17 – 20, 2013.

During the Wednesday Gala, pearl-like edibles will top desserts to be enjoyed with accompanying beverages and appetizers.  Live music will be performed for the enjoyment of Treasure Gardens’ industry friends and guests throughout the Gala. 

Since early 1984, Treasure Garden has manufactured a wide selection of shade products, and has been a multiple winner of the Manufacturer of the Year for Shade Products by the retail membership of the ICFA.
