The Season for Cooking on the Road Heats Up

BARRIE, ONT - The TravelQ from Napoleon Gourmet Grills is allowing customers to bring familiar backyard performance and quality on the road. Whether tailgating, going on a family picnic, camping, or living in small urban spaces, the TravelQ goes anywhere.

“On an RV or even in a condo, our portable barbecues are perfect for the person on the go,” says Stephen Schroeter, from Napoleon Gourmet Grills. “Within this compact package are industry-leading innovations like dual burners for direct or indirect grilling and smoking for the ultimate performance. With the TravelQ, you can exercise your culinary chops almost anywhere.”

Dealers can show off the TravelQ’s 285-square-inch, durable, porcelainized cast-iron cooking surface, with dual stainless steel burners and JETFIRE ignition—plus crossover lighting that helps it perform in almost any weather conditions. Its versatility enables it to be connected to standard portable propane cylinders or with an option hose to a larger propane tank.

The unique fixed scissor cart design enables the TravelQ to be easily transported on eight-inch wheels or packed away for easy storage. It can be set up in less than 10 seconds thanks to the TravelQ 285’s innovative design, recently recognized with a Vesta Award from Hearth & Home magazine.

“The TravelQ is incredibly versatile, and allows you to cook on it as if you were using your regular backyard grill,” says Schroeter. “It has features that enable you to grill basic burgers and dogs, use indirect heat to cook a chicken or even get some smoke happening to bring out the ultimate flavor in your ribs.”
