The Hammock Source Hires Russell Thornton as B2B manager

GREENVILLE, NC - The Hammock Source has hired Russell Thornton as B2B manager. His duties cover three main areas: sourcing new business opportunities where the company doesn’t have Rep Group presence; development and maintenance of tablet based ordering; and trade show staffing.
Thornton, a recent graduate of East Carolina University, has an extensive background in technology, customer service, and sales. In the short time that he has been with the company, his expertise and attention to detail has already had a positive impact. “We have high expectations that Russell will use his skills to contribute to the continued growth of The Hammock Source,” said Reid Roney, executive vice president.
The Hammock Source was founded in 1971 by Walter Perkins, Jr. and operates both Hatteras Hammocks and Pawleys Island Hammocks. The corporation is one of Greenville’s largest employers and is the largest manufacturer of hammocks in North America.
