Sunnyland Patio Furniture Hosts Northwood Hills Holiday Bazaar

DALLAS - Sunnyland Patio Furniture will support local charities: Our Friends Place and Zoie’s Place with the Northwood Hills Holiday Bazaar, on Saturday, Dec 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sunnyland Patio Furniture, 7879 Spring Valley Road, Dallas, Texas.
“The Holiday Bazaar is a great opportunity for holiday shoppers to find unique gifts and to give to a charitable gift as well,” said David Schweig, owner and president of Sunnyland Patio Furniture. “Our Friends Place and Zoie’s Place are two charities that are near and dear to our heart. We hope everyone takes a moment this holiday season to share their joy with others.”
Our Friends Place helps young women ages 18-24 break generational cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness by providing supportive homes where they can learn the skills needed for self-sufficiency and independence.
“We are thrilled Sunnyland Furniture is promoting Our Friends Place to the community in this fun event during the holidays, a time of year our young women really need to know people care,” Heather Bennett, president of the Our Friends Place Board of Directors, said. “We look forward to everyone coming out to support Northwood Hill’s Holiday Bazaar and meeting our team to learn more about our young women.”
Zoie’s Place provides transitional services to homeless youth aging out of foster care to equip, empower and prepare them for adulthood. Founded by a former Child Protective Services Caseworker, Brandy Coty saw a need for homeless youth aging out of the foster care system and decided to create Zoie’s Place.
“What an incredible honor to be selected as a beneficiary of the Northwood Hills Holiday Bazaar,” Brandy Coty, founder and executive director of Zoie’s Place, said. “We are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to meet our neighbors and share the needs of at risk youth in our community. Thank you, Sunnyland Furniture for allowing Zoie’s Place the opportunity to a part of this wonderful event.”
The Holiday Bazaar includes a variety of vendors from jewelry and cosmetics to kitchen gadgets and holiday décor with representatives from Nala Designs, Pampered Chef, Senegence, Premier Designs, Mary Kay, Chloe + Isabel Jewelry, Pink Zebra, Tastefully Simple, Discard Divas, Unique Yard Art and many more. Admission is free and hot chocolate will be provided for guests.
