Summer Classics Taps Schon Duke as New VP of Sales

PELHAM, AL - Summer Classics has promoted Schon Duke to vice president of Sales for both Gabby and Summer Classics. Duke joined Summer Classics in April 2015 as VP of Sales for Summer Classics Wholesale Division. In 2015, Duke’s teams:
• Launched multiple designer friendly programs, which increased market share in this channel;
• reconfigured sales teams and territories, resulting in exponential sales growth and increasing the customer base of both designer and dealer accounts since January 1, 2016;
• restructured Summer Classics’ annual National Sales Meeting and Garden Party Event, increasing attendance and engagement; and
• launched a new “Essentials Program” with a commitment to have all Essentials products in stock in season.

Schon came to SC with 25 years of experience in the high-end furniture industry at Maitland Smith and Theodore Alexander. His wealth of experience and contacts is greatly aiding the sales force in getting to the right buyer at the right time.

Schon currently lives in Winston-Salem and is planning on moving to Birmingham with his family this summer. “The Gabby team is incredible.
