Summer Classics and Gabby Expand Sales Force

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Summer Classics and Gabby brands have hired several accomplished luxury furniture sales representatives to expand and improve coverage nationwide. Last week, the new sales team completed a week of intensive training at the new Summer Classics and Gabby headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama.

Vice president of Sales, Schon Duke, stated “This is an exciting time at Summer Classics and Gabby and is part of our ongoing strategy to strengthen our brands. I am honored to be part of this world class sales team and we look forward to the growth that lies ahead for all of us.”

The additions will take place in the following territories:

• Florida: Ed Lansaw, with 35 years experience at Baker, Maitland Smith and Century Furniture, will lead sales activities in his home territory for Summer Classics and Gabby.

• Southern California and Arizona: Gwen Kazmierzak, with significant experience at Henredon, Maitland-Smith, Lane Venture, John Richard and most recently 10 years at Jonathan Charles, will lead sales activities while leveraging the company’s Los Angeles distribution center.

• North Carolina and South Carolina: Tim Baldwin, with 26 years experience at Theodore Alexander and Hickory Chair in the mid-Atlantic and North Carolina coast will return to his home state and partner with Rick Scott, an existing Gabby sales leader. This team will represent both brands.

• Ohio and Michigan: Rick Leslie, with a solid record of success at Henredon and Theodore Alexander, is now joining Jeremy Rago, a Summer Classics and Gabby veteran in the Midwest.
