CARSON CITY, NV - Sierra Products Inc has received certification under the EPA’s New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for its EasyFire EF3801 and EF4001 Insert Pellet heaters. Both products’ emission levels tested substantially lower than the requirements set by the EPA for 2020 and beyond.

The EPA’s New Source Performance Standards program which governs emissions for wood burning appliances was updated in 2015 for the first time in more than 20 years.

The updated emissions limits seek to further reduce air pollutants. “This is an important achievement for Sierra Products,” said Thelin and Sierra Products president, Robert Beck. “We are thrilled to receive this certification and will continue to focus on developing technology to make our products even cleaner for our customers and the environment.”
