Shademaker Expands Focus on Landscape Professionals

BALDWIN PARK, CA – Shademaker is expanding its corporate marketing efforts to focus on growth with landscape professionals. The shade designer and manufacturer’s marketing division has joined the American Society of Landscape Architects, along with advertising in several landscaping publications. Training for its sales team will expand to focus on the benefits of Shademaker to landscape architects to assist in their selection of shade products for projects.

“Shademaker has always had a primary focus on contract entities including restaurants, hotels, golf clubs and related businesses,” said Kim Golson, national contract sales manager. “The category of landscape professionals has been included; but it is one we look to expand with greater efforts in 2021.  Membership in the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) is a primary component of these efforts as we strive to educate landscape professionals on the importance shade can hold in their projects.”

According to the ASLA, landscape architecture professionals are involved in the planning, design, management, and nurturing of built and natural environments. With this focus, Shademaker recognizes that the work of landscape architects can be enhanced through the use of commercial grade shade. With the ability to create custom shade, the product line of Shademaker is designed to meet the specific requirements as well as advanced functionality often required by the end customer.
