RTA Outdoor Living Bets on Wellness to Drive Outdoor Kitchen Demand

GREENLAND, N.H. – RTA Outdoor Living, a national provider of custom outdoor kitchen solutions, connects outdoor living with the consumer wellness trend by building a real-world project to explore and document that connection.
The result is Health Haven, a YouTube Special that follows the complete transformation of a one-acre Miami property owned by performance coach and bestselling author Justin Roethlingshoefer and his wife Alyse, founders of Own It Coaching.
The project is a collaboration between RTA Outdoor Living and the couple, with RTA leading the design and bringing in a network of contributors including Chilly Dip, Coyote Outdoor Living, Montana Fire Pits, NewtechWood, Peacock Pavers, Pergolux and Sonance to bring the full scope to life.
The finished Health Haven includes an RTA outdoor kitchen, two louvered pergolas with electronic shades, a sauna and cold plunge recovery area, an outdoor gym, a podcast and recovery studio, a full-backyard sound system, a yoga and breathwork area, and a fire pit and seating area.
The wellness premise is backed by research. A review of 143 studies published in Environmental Research found that green space exposure is associated with lower cortisol, reduced heart rate and improved heart rate variability.
