DALLAS – American Eco-Living, a manufacturer of outdoor furniture and accessories, has brought on industry veteran Andy Sokol as its new president.

Sokol began his career in 1983 at Fortunoff , where, as vice-president of merchandising, he led this legendary family-owned New York based retailer to sales of over $100 million, which positioned the company, during his tenure, as the #1 specialty patio furniture retailer in the country.

Sokol also has held senior executive roles at Macy’s and on the manufacturing side of the business, at Agio, where he served as vice-president of sales from 2011-2016.

Most recently, Sokol served as denior vice-president of merchandising and sales for the outdoor division at Ashley Furniture Industries. Sokol was recruited by Ashley in 2016 to launch this new category for the company and led the division to a leadership position in the outdoor industry.
