Napoleon® Fireplaces and Napoleon® Gourmet Grills (Napoleon Group of Companies) today announced that Ron McArthur has been named President of the Napoleon Group of Companies.

Over the past 35 years, the Canadian fireplace, barbecue, and heating and cooling manufacturer has expanded into a successful North American company with a growing international presence.

“Ron McArthur’s experience of leading strong, world-class brands will be a valuable addition to the Napoleon family,” said Wolfgang Schroeter, CEO of Napoleon. “Napoleon has been growing steadily over the past three decades and we are very excited about the future of the company,” said Schroeter.

McArthur most recently ran another family owned company, WSI – a Leading Internet Marketing Company.  At WSI he expanded the company into 23 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Previously, he was appointed President of Hudson Bay Wholesale, grossing $1.2 billion and was also previously President of the largest division within the Van Houtte Coffee Company.

The Napoleon group of Companies will remain 100 percent family owned. Chris and Stephen Schroeter will remain in their roles as Senior Vice Presidents. Ingrid Schroeter will take on the role of CFO. Wolfgang Schroeter has been appointed CEO.
