CHICAGO - OW Lee, a manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture, fire pits, and accessories located in Ontario, Calif, earned their fifth straight Manufacturer of the Year Award win at the ICFA Apollo Awards on Thursday, September 22nd. The event was full of excitement as manufacturers and specialty stores gathered to celebrate excellence in the Casual Furniture Industry.

The Manufacturer of the Year award is one of the ICFA’s top honors. The International Casual Furnishings Association, a sister organization to the American Home Furnishings Alliance, is a global leader in promoting business development and partnerships in the outdoor and casual furnishings industry. ICFA retail members are invited to vote for this award using the following criteria: design and quality of products, merchandising, customer service, ethics, communications, and trade relations.

“We are very honored and humbled to receive the Manufacturer of the Year Award for the fifth year in a row,” said Terri Lee Rogers, president of OW Lee Co., “I have our employees and retailers to thank.” During her speech, Terri thanked her parents in the audience for building a foundation for the business to grow upon, as well as the retailers for all their hard work and support. She also spoke about how special the casual furniture industry is. This is OW Lee’s sixth time out of the last seven years winning this prestigious award. They also received the Manufacturer of the Year Award in 2010, 2012, 2013 2014, and 2015. 

OW Lee was founded in 1947 in Pasadena, California. They manufacture fine wrought iron and wrought aluminum outdoor furniture and fire pits. OW Lee manufactures heirloom quality products in Ontario, California, and they are one of the few remaining companies in the outdoor furniture industry that still manufacture in the USA.
