Outdoor GreatRoom Company Introduces Teak Wood Darien Collection

MINNEAPOLIS - The Outdoor GreatRoom CompanyTM (OGC) recently introduced the Darien Collection to its popular line of outdoor living products. There are two gas fire pits featured in the collection. Each coastal design incorporates Grade A teak wood, the highest quality of teak available, as the base of the table. The high oil content and tight grains of Grade A teak help protect the fire pits from weathering and harsh outdoor conditions.
“Teak is a beautiful material, and we wanted to incorporate its popular style in this year’s launch of new products” said Renee Schmitz, vice president of Business Development. “Homeowners can allow the teak color to gradually age and turn to a silvery grey patina or use a teak sealer to keep the warm honey glow.”
The Darien Gas Fire Pit Table is outfitted with a Graphite Grey aluminum or Stone Grey EverblendTM concrete top to complement the tropical tone of the base. Each top brings its own distinctive design and texture to the Darien’s overall look. The aluminum top is smooth with an industrial-style exterior, while the EverblendTM concrete top is natural in appearance with a texture that is unique to each table.
Also featured in the collection is a pair of Darien Teak Chat Chairs. These modern-styled chairs include Graphite Grey, powder-coated aluminum framing with outdoor-rated Olefin cushions. Teak accents on each armrest tie in the comfortable chairs with the rest of the collection.
Both gas fire pits feature a 12” x 24” Crystal Fire® Plus gas burner as the focal point of the table. Crystal Fire® Plus burner technology is designed and engineered by the OGC and is UL Listed to provide the safest, tallest, and brightest collection of flames.
A matching Graphite Grey aluminum cover is included with the aluminum top, while a grey glass cover is included with the EverblendTM concrete top. Also included with the tables are clear tempered glass gems to fill the burner tray. Glass wind guards, folding glass wind guards, and other fire media colors can be purchased separately.
While the Darien tables are setup for liquid propane, an installer can convert them to natural gas by using the included conversion kit. Each base includes an access door to conceal a standard 20-pound liquid propane tank.
