New President at Jensen Outdoor

SANDSTON, VA – Jensen Outdoor, a North American sustainable luxury wood furniture manufacturer, has appointed Bryan Echols as president, effective immediately. Echols assumes the role as part of a planned leadership transition, succeeding Eric Parsons, who will continue with the company as chairman and strategic advisor.

Echols brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the outdoor furnishings industry and joined Jensen Outdoor in 2025. Since his arrival, he has worked closely with the leadership team to support growth across retail, design trade, and hospitality channels while reinforcing Jensen Outdoor’s long-standing commitment to sustainable craftsmanship and enduring partnerships.

“Bryan is a proven leader with deep industry knowledge, exceptional customer insight, and a steady, values-driven approach to growth,” said Eric Parsons, chairman and strategic advisor at Jensen Outdoor. “He understands what makes Jensen special—our people, our partners, and our product integrity—and he is exceptionally well prepared to lead the organization forward. I am confident Jensen is in very capable hands.”

A University of Georgia alumnus, Echols began his career representing brands such as Samsonite Furniture, Grosfillex, Shelley’s Cushions & Umbrellas, and Three Coins Imports across the Midwest and Southeast. He later led regional sales for Lloyd Flanders before advancing to senior executive roles overseeing sales and marketing. Over the course of his career, Echols has earned numerous industry honors, including Casual Furniture Retailers Association Sales Representative of the Year and multiple manufacturer Sales Representative of the Year awards.

A respected industry voice, Echols has served on the board of the International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) since 2013, chaired the ICFA Sales Representative Council, and was named ICFA Sales Representative of the Year on two occasions.

“As President, my focus is simple and disciplined,” said Echols. “We will continue to strengthen our partnerships, support our retail and trade community, and invest thoughtfully in the people and processes that allow Jensen to perform at the highest level. This transition positions us to take on new opportunities while remaining deeply committed to the relationships and standards that have defined Jensen Outdoor for decades.”

Eric Parsons, who joined Jensen Outdoor in 2019 and has served as president since 2022, will remain actively involved in guiding long-term strategy, product development, and leadership mentorship in his role as chairman and strategic advisor.
