Lori Gonzalez is the new CEO at Twin-Star International. Twin-Star International Inc is an award-winning manufacturer of home furnishings, stoves, heaters and consumer electronics, combining the latest trends with function and style to create lasting products that enhance consumers’ lives.
Twin-Star is recognized for their brands: ClassicFlame, Duraflame, ChimneyFree, ClassicFlame Pro, Bell’O, Bell’O Digital and Powerheat. As an entrepreneurial turnaround business leader for Fortune 500 consumer brands, her experience spans Strategy & Business Development, P&L Management, Consumer Insight & Marketing, Trade/Retail Management, Product Development, Direct-to-Consumer, Manufacturing & Far East Supplier Development.
From 2008-2017, Lori was vice president and general manager at Newell Brands - Jarden Group, a $16 Billion leading global consumer products company. She was responsible for long-term business strategy, P&L management, product portfolio management, and consumer marketing strategy for several businesses in the Consumer Solutions Business Unit. In this role, she architected the strategic framework for driving rapid and sustainable growth in the largest and most profitable category within Consumer Solutions, delivering 64% increase in gross sales with accretive margins.
From 1998-2008, Lori served in several branded business leadership roles within Jarden, establishing her proven track record of growing revenue and profit in diverse business models, with increasing responsibility and business complexity, and was promoted 7 times during that 10-year period.
Ms. Gonzalez began her career at Fiskars, a global consumer product company listed on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki in Finland, in sales and marketing roles.
With 20+ years experience in the consumer products industry, Lori is recognized for her ability to quickly assess businesses, create sustainable growth strategies that drive immediate momentum, and align the organization to enable optimal execution. A high energy, driven and creative executive, Lori is known for her authentic and decisive approach to solving complex problems, turning around declining businesses, re-shaping the P&L, and delivering a path to increased operating profit. Lori has repeatedly built a performance-driven culture and strong management teams across diverse businesses. She motivates and inspires her teams and ignites passion in people by unlocking their potential and rewarding high performers.
Gonzalez has also served as a director on the Board of Wastequip’s parent holding company, Patriot Container Corporation, the leading North American manufacturer of waste and recycling equipment. Wastequip is majority owned by Centerbridge Partners LP, a leading private equity firm based in NY, NY.
Gonzalez is a wife and mother of three young children, and is an advocate of driving growth for organizations, while maintaining work/life balance. She is passionate about the professional development of young women, and serves as a mentor within the Women of Tomorrow organization, which exists to inspire, motivate and empower young women to live up to their full potential. Lori resides with her husband and family in Boca Raton, Florida.
Lori graduated from The University of Wisconsin –Madison where she earned her B.B.A in Marketing, Management, and Human Resources, and earned her M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University.
