SCOTTSDALE, AZ - While attending the ICFA Educational Conference this week in Scottsdale, Arizona, Henry Vanderminden IV, president of Telescope Casual, and Tony Ramos, publisher of Patio & Hearth Products Report, took an early morning hike and scaled Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale.
The 4 mile round trip hike, with a vertical elevation of 1,200 feet, took Vanderminden IV and Ramos over a trail consisting mainly of large jagged boulders and rocks. At the top of the mountain, Vanderminden IV and Ramos were treated to a 360 degree unobstructed view of Scottsdale and Phoenix.
With the theme of this year’s ICFA Conference titled, “Navigating the Future,” Ramos said of the hike, “I’m just glad that Henry led the way. He’s much better at navigating Camelback Mountain than I would have been.”
The three day conference featured a number of excellent speakers covering a wide range of topics from marketing, technology, customer service, retailing, team building and generational differences. The conference was comprised of approximately 175 attendees, consisting of retailers, manufacturers, sales representatives, and members of the press.
