Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet™, the leading manufacturer of high-end outdoor kitchen equipment and appliances, announced today that it has named Steven J. Adolph as president, effective immediately. Adolph brings more than 20 years of entrepreneurial, branding, and leadership expertise to Kalamazoo, and will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Chicago.

“Steve is an accomplished leader who has a strong track record of driving revenue and profitability growth through brand building and sales expansion. He truly understands our brand and our customers and brings us a very nice mix of entrepreneurial, brand, and organizational building skills,” said Pantelis A. “Pete” Georgiadis, chairman of Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet. “We look forward to his energy, enthusiasm and experience taking Kalamazoo to the next level.”

Prior to joining Kalamazoo, Adolph has driven growth and increased market share as a senior executive for leading global consumer brands such as Equal, NutraSweet, Roundup, SentrySafe and Cat’s Pride. He also served as CEO of Australia, New Zealand and Asia for Invacare – the leading provider of home medical equipment.

Adolph has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University, graduating magna cum laude, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, where he graduated with distinction.
