Jensen Outdoor, makers of sustainable luxury wood furniture for the North American market–has appointed Schon Duke as new president of the company. An experienced business leader, Duke will succeed Hlodver Olafsson and has assumed responsibilities as of December 1st, 2021.

Hlodver Olafsson is retiring as president of Jensen Outdoor and from his seat on the Board of Directors after a lustrous forty-year career in the wood manufacturing industry. Hlodver’s passion for the business and his outstanding personal commitment have helped position Jensen Outdoor as a strong brand across the US and Canada; he will be greatly missed by all those who have worked with him and is wished continued success in all future endeavors.

Duke is an experienced sales and marketing executive with more than 30 years’ experience, primarily positioned in the high-end segment of the A&D and Furniture Industry. Duke comes with a successful track record in both the interior and exterior furniture categories.
