SAN MATEO, CA - Richard “Dick” Mulcahy of San Mateo California passed away on November 13th due to complications of heart failure. Dick is survived by: His wife Mary, son David Mulcahy and daughter Pam Dobbins. 

Dick was a leader in the casual furniture industry. Beginning his career with Hurricane Wicker in the early 1960s in management, he forged a career in management—as a retailer and as a long-standing and universally admired sales representative. 

Lisa Zhou of Gensun expressed it best by saying: “I am very sorry to let you know that our very good friend and one of our best sales reps Dick Mulcahy passed away this morning in the hospital in Atlanta.” Lisa went on to say, “He had worked for Gensun not only as a Rep but also a mentor. He cared about Gensun and Gensun people. He helped and witnessed Gensun grow.  We will always love him and remember him. RIP.”
