As we begin the process of making the Young Guns as great as we can possibly make it, we want to take a step back to say thanks to the people that have gotten us to this point: Jack Goldman, the President & CEO of HPBA, Rodge Holland, the Chairman of the HPBA Board of Directors, as well as the entire Board who both supported and approved the group’s formation. We also want to thank the first committee members (list below) who have offered their time and expertise to help make Young Guns possible.

The Young Guns have these specific goals:

1. To raise awareness of our industries to members of HPBA

2. To support education and networking regionally throughout HPBA

3. To grow the future leadership of HPBA

4. To encourage new professionals to join the hearth and outdoor living industries

5. To meet like-minded people and have some fun together

We believe this group has limitless possibilities and look forward, with your ideas, to many years of Young Guns success. We encourage you to get involved as there will be many opportunities to volunteer. Thanks again to all who have helped us get here today, and thanks to everyone who will help us in the future.

Who are the Young Guns?
The Young Guns represent HPBA members who are under the age of 40 or who have been in the industry for less than five years.
The Young Guns’ mission is to provide educational, networking, social, and training opportunities at both the national and affiliate levels of HPBA, as well as, to foster leadership and collegial relationships. Young Guns hopes to help recruit new people into the industry, as well.
