Honorary Customer Service Ambassadors Give Unexpected Advice

In the spring of 2025, Summerland couple Jim Klassen and Mirjana Komljenovic suddenly began receiving phone calls meant for the Napoleon Grills customer service phone line. What seemed at first like a small inconvenience quickly grew into a constant stream of calls, from early morning until late at night, as grill owners across the country looked for help.

Instead of becoming frustrated, the couple – proud Napoleon grill owners themselves – chose a different path. They answered questions, directed callers to local dealers, and did their best to guide fellow grillers through their challenges.

When Jim and Mirjana reached out to Napoleon, the company discovered the source of the calls were the result of incorrect contact information appearing on platforms such as Google and Apple. Napoleon worked with both companies to replace the incorrect information and phone number. What could have remained a frustrating experience became a story of generosity and extraordinary customer care.

To recognize their efforts, Canada-based Napoleon has created a first-of-its-kind honor. Napoleon presented Jim and Mirjana with a special recognition, officially naming them ‘Honorary Customer Service Ambassadors’ in celebration of their dedication to helping others and their loyalty to the brand.

As a thank you, the couple will also be surprised with a Canadian-built Napoleon Prestige 665 BBQ – a top-of-the-line grill equipped with the latest connected technology—valued at $2,900.
