What is a home without a few unique enhancements to add that final touch of style? Heavy duty outdoor rugs, dual-function stool / side table and a rustic basket to keep small items safe and at hand. Combining tactile materials with beautifully detailed finishes, this range of occasional items is the stylish way to bring your outdoor experience to life.
London designer Mark Gabbertas has been inspired by the elegance and precision of engineering components with the design of Arbor, a versatile stool or occasional table. The design itself is deceptively simple and is engineered from a number of perfectly machined solid teak parts, which are turned to a perfect radius and artfully finished with crisp, vertical groove detailing.
This design is a classic example of Mark’s commitment to the value of simplicity and detail which, when combined, give character to even the most elemental pieces. Mark says “I feel strongly about creating solutions that compliment people’s desire to collect by offering them neat and considered living space solutions. There is no reason why even the smallest element should not be considered and crafted.”
Similarly adding refinement to simple concepts, the woven Basket by Danish designer Henrik Pedersen, is beautifully hand crafted in light or dark all weather rope and finished with an impeccably detailed, hand stitched natural leather handle. Also by Henrik, the rugs are manufactured using Sunbrella yarns - offering improved texture and longevity when compared to polypropylene rugs typically available for the outdoor market.
