Gloster Brings Bay State of Mind to Furniture

Virginia-based Gloster is bringing the overall feeling or emotion of sitting by the bay via a reclined position emphasizes an introverted and relaxed state of mind. It’s called Bay and it’s available as Lounge Chair, Ottoman, Two and Three Seater Sofas, Coffee Table, and Side Table.
The Bay Lounge is a 2015 International Casual Furnishings Association Design Excellence Award Winner, featuring a design by Henrik Pedersen (Denmark). Materials are Teak Frame & Table Tops and Sling Back Panel.
Gloster currently works with several world-renown designers to create timeless outdoor furniture. Once a concept is approved, designers work closely with the development team at the factory to further refine their designs. And even in this digital age, they insist that designers travel to, and spend time at, the factory so they get to know the company’s people, its raw materials, and the philosophy.
