Glen Raven Plans Production Facility Closure

SUNBURY, PA - On June 4, Glen Raven announced plans to permanently close its production facility in Sunbury, PA, and also eliminate a select number of positions based out of the company’s Burlington, NC headquarters and other facilities in the USA, effective immediately. The Sunbury plant will operate into August 2020.
Company officials made the decision after a thorough analysis of the market, the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the global manufacturing footprint. According to a Glen Raven press release, “This difficult decision was made to streamline operations and support the long-term position of the company. We are grateful for the hard work and dedication our team at Sunbury and our other facilities have shown over the years, and we are committed to supporting them through this transition.”
