PELHAM, AL – Gabby’s spring 2021 market introductions are all about functional furnishings curated specifically for modern-day customers. A nod to French antiques, these transitional pieces are an ideal fit for a contemporary home.
Chris Hutchens, Gabby’s creative director, shared his vision for this season’s new additions: “When we started to scheme these new products, our designers took a ‘back to basics’ approach. Drawing inspiration from our travels to the south of France, we chose to create pieces that are stunningly simple, functional and distinguished by their design elements. The vision was to intentionally take a step back, with the desire to stay true to our roots, while crafting innovative furniture that truly elevates a space.”
Chris adds, “We have those pieces that push the limits – whether it’s a familiar material we push the design, or a familiar design we push the material – this allows us to maintain our position as a leader in the design industry.”
The Farre Chest (pictured) is one of many new items and features ribbed lines and faceted angles that give its four drawer fronts dramatic geometric symmetry. Accented with sleek stained brass pulls, this chest offers generous drawer space plus an open top shelf – perfect for storing small accessories.
