ELMIRA, ON - Available at www.elmirastoveworks.com, the easy-to-use tool lets website visitors design their kitchen via a simple three-step process. First, they select the Elmira appliance(s) they want to include in their kitchen along with the cabinet color. For each appliance, they then choose the desired model, color, features, trim and options that meet their particular design and budget needs. Finally, users can view their finished kitchen – along with specs and pricing – and save, print or share the kitchen with others. They can also request a detailed quote from Elmira Stove Works.
Since consumers are able to see pricing at the time they create their dream kitchen, the element of surprise when purchasing appliances is eliminated. If the original kitchen configuration exceeds their budget, they simply adjust the appliance models and options to reach their desired price point.
“Consumers who visit the Elmira website are passionate about their kitchens,” said Tony Dowling, vice president of Sales and Marketing, Elmira Stove Works. “With this in mind, we set out to develop a visualizer tool that would make it easy for them to build their appliances and get a real idea of how those appliances will look in their space before making an investment. That way, they can feel confident when placing their order that they will get exactly what they want and what they intended to order.”
The online tool can also be used by Elmira Stove Works dealers to engage consumers in their showrooms. Dealers can invite the consumer to build his or her appliances while visiting the store, resulting in increased rapport and trust. Dealers also benefit from the ability to confirm their purchase orders prior to sending them to Elmira, saving time and minimizing the chance of delays resulting from inaccurate or incomplete orders.
Added Dowling, “Since the ‘Create Your Dream Kitchen’ tool has launched, a number of dealers have told us that consumers have emailed their dream kitchen directly to the store and requested quotes. Dealers have also reported instances where consumers walked into their stores with a printout of their dream kitchen and said, ‘I want these appliances.’ It makes the sales process much simpler for both consumers and our dealers.”
