DELRAY BEACH, FL - Twin-Star International, manufacturer of quality furniture, bath vanities, thermoelectric wine coolers and electric heaters, recently celebrated man’s best friend in honor of National Dog Day.

Twin-Star International has always been a dog friendly office, so the company celebrated National Dog Day by throwing a “Dog Days of Summer” bash at the company’s headquarters in Delray Beach, Fla. Employees were encouraged to bring their furry friends to work, and celebrations included a dog photo shoot with a dog/owner look alike contest, pet adoptions from the Tri-County Humane Society, Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue and Island Paws Rescue.

A hot dog bar with all the fixings was also provided for the (human) employees, and of course lots of treats for the canines—including homemade organic treats sold by Joanne Schnieder who donated her proceeds to the American Heart Association.

Twin-Star is also hosting a dog food drive through September 5th, which they then plan to donate to the shelters that participated in their “Dog Days Of Summer” celebration. So far at least one dog and a cat have found their forever homes due to their efforts.
