HALEYVILLE, AL - Nine months after taking the helm at Crimson Casual, President and CEO Bobby Tesney continues to guide the company through another round of growth.
“My immediate goal when coming on board was to align this company to execute all aspects of quality, service, and delivery—and execute all three on a consistent basis,” says Tesney. “We implemented this plan by making some decisions that involved changes to operations, sales, marketing, and improved raw material management.”
From its beginnings in April 2010, the company has experienced strong growth year after year, thanks to a large selection of products such as the Capstone Sling (pictured). All products continue to be manufactured in the United States, specifically Haleyville, Ala.
Tesney credits Crimson Casual’s continued momentum to a realignment that has sought to build on the company’s strengths, while improving aspects such as inventory control. “We simply re aligned the building blocks of this company,” enthuses Tesney. “Crimson is performing well now, and is currently meeting or exceeding our delivery goals, and most importantly our customers’ delivery expectations.
“I am pleased to report that Crimson has experienced a very good 2013 by recording the best year of the company, and we continue to build one of the highest quality products available,” he continues. “More importantly, our new inventory management initiative has equipped our production team with sufficient inventory on raw materials to react to impact of sales growth without sacrificing delivery.”
“Our management team has bought into the new strategies and this team has worked very hard this year,” adds Jon Bennett, chairman and vice president, Sales and Marketing. “We had a great year and a stronger June and July than expected. By listening to what our retailers needed, I am excited to be able to debut our Grayton Cove deep seating collection very soon. Grayton Cove will focus on giving our dealer base the most comfortable and stylish cushion product in the industry, at its price point.”
