CASTELLE® Acquires 63rd Design Patent With Introduction of 2017 Collections

FT LAUDERDALE, FL - CASTELLE, headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has acquired its 63rd design patent for product features of its handcrafted, luxury outdoor furniture.  Designs from three of the 2017 introductory collections, Solaris, Roma and Vertice, were among those receiving the latest patents.

“With the over 60 patents, there is no question as to the priority our company places on originality of design,” said Steve Lowsky, CEO of CASTELLE. “Through obtaining these, and all our patents, we are reinforcing our commitment to creating a genuine CASTELLE style and the ‘something different’ our customers look to us for.”

Over the company’s nearly 40 years, the protection of new designs annually has always been a priority.  “Whether the first or the sixty-third, the creativity in each design and the investment each represents are valued by everyone in our company,” said Lowsky.  ” We feel a responsibility, as an industry leader and past recipient of multiple Design Excellence Awards, to represent the value of original designs by not only obtaining patents, but by defending them as well.”

Within CASTELLE’s Chicago Merchandise Mart showroom, innovation and accomplishments are on display. Each represents the company’s commitment to the industry that has existed for over four decades.
