MISSISSAUGA, ON − CABANACOAST® has announced a sponsorship with the Winter Equestrian Festival, the largest and longest-running equestrian competition in the world. The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) begins every year in January and runs for 12 weeks. Held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida, the festival draws amateur and professional equestrians from all 50 states and from more than 40 countries. Riders bring in over 7,000 horses to compete, having a collective net value of more than half a billion dollars. More than $9 million US dollars is awarded throughout the 12 weeks of competition, making it the largest amount in the world.
WEF features shopping boutiques offering fashion, jewelry, home design, fine art, and more. Competitions run from Wednesday to Sunday each week. Numerous dining options are available on the grounds, along with other exciting family entertainment such as a petting zoo, pony rides, or children’s fair during the Saturday Night Lights.
CABANACOAST® outdoor furniture is featured in several key installations throughout the extensive property, including the Hunter Viewing Area (Rider’s Lounge), Vendor Village, and Central Park. In addition, on February 15th, CABANACOAST® sponsored the $134, 000 Grand Prix CSI 3* competition and awarded the top prize to Nicole Shahinian, the winning rider.
“CABANACOAST® is excited to begin a partnership with an international event of this caliber,” stated Lindsay Liepold, Director of sales, US. “WEF is a respected and established venue and this alliance aligns perfectly with our own value proposition of enhancing the enjoyment of outdoor living and our tagline “A beautiful life.” WEF provides a great opportunity for competitors and spectators alike to do just that.”
The 2019 Winter Equestrian Festival runs from January 9th, 2019 - March 31st, 2019.
