COLUMBUS, OH - Mark Hawkins, president and owner of Sand Hill Wholesale & Mfg Inc, has completed the purchase of the 26,000-sq-ft facility where Sand Hill Wholesale is currently operating.
The decision to purchase was made after considering the benefits of ownership versus leasing. Full ownership will allow Sand Hill Wholesale much greater flexibility to respond to growth needs, and the freedom to change the facility as needed for improved operations.
Hawkins feels that this move positions Sand Hill Wholesale for greater stability in today’s competitive marketplace. Sand Hill Wholesale is the oldest national distributor of fireplace, wood and gas heating products.
For more than three decades, Sand Hill Wholesale has developed a customer base of hearth retailers and chimney and venting professionals, such as chimney sweeps, masons, HVAC contractors, and animal control experts. Customers are found in every state in the U.S., across Canada, Japan, and Europe.
