SIMPSONVILLE, KY - With its large portfolio of successful luxury outdoor furniture brands, Brown Jordan International has created a new organizational structure for its two largest brands. Since 1945 and 1954, respectively, the Brown Jordan and Tropitone brands have a heritage of delivering quality products to the discriminating outdoor consumer.
Effective immediately, and to unite the operations behind the brands, Brown Jordan International has promoted John Mattson to group vice president of Contract Sales, and Frank Verna as group vice president of Retail Sales and Marketing. “Brown Jordan and Tropitone are two great complementary brands that cover a broad portion of the market in both the retail and contract channels,” states Mattson.
Mattson and Verna will report to Johnny Simpson, president of the Outdoor Living Group for Brown Jordan International. The Outdoor Living Group consists of the Brown Jordan and Tropitone brands. “Combining these functional areas will drive our expertise and improve our service to the customer, making our company stronger,” Simpson affirms.
Additionally, Brown Jordan International has promoted Steve Elton to chief brand curator and Bill Brown to vice president of Product Ideation, both representing the Brown Jordan brand. These changes are effective immediately.
