PALATINE, IL - Weber-Stephen Products LLC, the company that helped ignite the gas grilling revolution more than 30 years ago with the launch of its flagship Genesis gas grill line, announces the introduction of new Genesis II, an eight grill line-up that promises the grilling community an unparalleled backyard grilling experience.

The Weber Genesis II line includes eight gas grill models featuring the new GS4 High Performance Grilling System—the heart of every grill in the line. The GS4 system sets a new standard for grilling with an integrated cooking system that promises grillers more precise control and ease-of-use. The four key components include:

Infiniti Ignition: Ensured to ignite every time with improved durability and an enhanced 10-year warranty.
High Performance Burners:  New, tapered burners revolutionize grilling, allowing for ultimate heat distribution, ensuring food grills evenly and consistently anywhere on the cooking grate.
Flavorizer Bars: Weber’s Flavorizer Bars help reduce flare-ups, improve heat distribution and enhance barbecue flavor. The flavorizer bars feature a new design so consumers can easily see the flame.
Grease Management System:  A new central located design helps funnel grease that is not vaporized by the Flavorizer bars into an easy-to-remove drip tray that allows for faster, easier cleaning.

The Genesis II line features a sleek, open cart design with a bottom storage shelf, the GS4 High Performance Grilling System, two side tables for extra workspace, an easy-to-read fuel gauge, and a Tuck-Away warming rack. Unique, narrow/wide reversible porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates. Each grill also includes a docking station for the iGrill 3 Bluetooth digital thermometer that monitors cooking times and temperatures, sending alerts to any mobile device (sold separately, $99). The line offers two, three, four and six burner options:

The Genesis II LX line features additional options, including stainless steel cooking grates, a new High+™ setting that allows all burners to turn up to highest setting for an added boost of heat, a new square-design side burner with improved stability and exterior control knob, and the iGrill 3 docking station for the iGrill 3 Bluetooth digital thermometer that monitors cooking times and temperatures, sending alerts to any mobile device (sold separately, $99). All models include the GS4 High Performance Grilling System, an easy-to-read LED fuel gauge, lighted control knobs and a LED handle light for convenient nighttime grilling, a Tuck-Away warming rack that is designed specifically to accommodate the Weber Elevations Tiered Cooking System, and a side table with integrated tool hooks.
