IRVINE, CA - Tropitone Furniture Co Inc is introducing three new faux wood finishes—Teak, Ash, and Walnut—designed for Tropitone® umbrellas. The new faux wood finishes are currently available on Basta Sole® Portofino, and Portofino II.
Made from aluminum, these new umbrellas provide the rich appearance of wood without the typical maintenance required of outdoor wood products. Wood umbrellas need to be oiled or varnished regularly, but aluminum umbrellas withstand the elements without much extra care. Due to the aluminum material, these umbrellas will last longer and deliver the durability that Tropitone customers expect.
Ash, Teak, and Walnut finishes provide a range of wood looks from light to dark. “The walnut finish is new for Tropitone,” says Tom Keddy, director of Product Management. “Including the dark wood option expands our offerings to the market and the design opportunities for customers.” The umbrellas come complete in a wood finish with finials, upper hubs, lower hubs, and arms matching the pole finish for a cohesive appearance.
The faux wood Portofino and Portofino II umbrellas offer all the options of Tropitone’s current aluminum products, such as box valance, different color air vents, double air vents, alternating panels, extended pole, shortened pole, and silk screening. These new umbrellas are available in Tropitone’s plethora of umbrella fabrics to compliment or match any seating arrangement.
