RICHMOND, VA – Jensen Leisure Furniture has been awarded the International Casual Furnishings Association’s (ICFA) Design Excellence Award 2016 in the Chaise category for their new Coral Chaise.  Entrants for the Design Excellence competition are exhibitors at the September Casual Market Chicago at the Merchandise Mart.  Eligible designs are slated for introduction at the upcoming exhibition, and must demonstrate exceptional design innovation and technical product innovation in its category. 

The Jensen Leisure Coral Chaise is a part of award-winning Danish designer Povl Eskildsen’s Coral Collection.  This collection includes dining and side chairs, bench, deep seating, ottoman, and sectional pieces.  Coral features all-weather quality Virofiber handcrafted in a fine, traditional basket weave onto a powder coated, commercial grade aluminum frame.  The natural gray and cream textured weave partners handsomely with the smooth, rich brown of 100% FSC certified Ipe timber arms and base.

Coral Collection production comes from two sister company’s manufacturing plants in Bolivia and in the Philippines.
