Wood Stove Regulatory Relief Act Introduced in Congress

ARLINGTON, VA - Since the publication of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for Residential Wood Heaters, the Hearth, Patio, and Barbecue Association HPBA, Arlington, Va, has been contacted by numerous Capitol Hill offices about the possibility of legislation to protect the industry.

HPBA officials reported that the first NSPS Regulatory Relief Act (officially titled the Wood Stove Regulatory Relief Act of 2014) was introduced today by Rep Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) [pictured] and Gregg Harper (R-MS).
