EXPORT, PA - Dormont’s newest portable gas connector allows homeowners to easily connect, move, and reposition natural gas appliances around any outdoor living space.
“This is a growing trend—people using their outdoor living space for entertainment,” said Scott John, product manager for Dormont. “Our new portable gas connector allows homeowners to connect, move, and reposition a natural gas appliance where they need it. Using one of our new connectors, gas appliances such as heaters can be placed near guests while entertaining, then moved out of the way and stored elsewhere after the fact.”
A recent study by the American Institute of Architects confirms that creating outdoor living space (including outdoor rooms, covered outdoor spaces, decks, patios, and porches) is currently the most popular property enhancement among consumers.
Dormont’s new gas connectors are designed for use with portable natural gas and LP appliances including gas grills, gas chimineas, and patio heaters. They can also be used with non-portable devices such as gas fireplaces.
The new portable gas connectors meet all necessary ANSI standards and are available in 10-foot and 12-foot lengths. The connectors join a full suite of gas connectors backed by Dormont’s 60-year history of safety and innovation.
