The new Ultra-Temp (UT) adjustable chimney length is designed for maximum installation flexibility. The 12-inch–long casing is adjustable from 2 inches to 9.5 inches installed, making it possible to adjust the system to the exact overall length required for any installation. The most common applications for the adjustable length are between elbows, to achieve an exact center-to-center offset; when a specific horizontal run is required; and to balance the chimney height, so that rain caps line up, for functional or aesthetic reasons. Please note that adjustable lengths must be installed above a fixed length, or they will not be adjustable. They cannot be installed immediately above a support, tee, or elbow.
