Linda Hogeland Schlender, age 67, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away earlier this month after a brief illness. Although she was a legal resident of Villa Rica, Linda still considered her hometown of Gardendale as home.

Linda was employed by Wadley Holdings (Meadowcraft) and served as vice president of Sales until her death. She was a 50-year, dedicated employee of Meadowcraft and loved the patio furniture industry. Linda loved people and loved life, but family always came first.

Elmira’s decision to choose Blue and Yellow went beyond color. When Elmira found itself in the midst of a labor shortage earlier this year, the company hired several displaced Ukrainian nationals to work in its Arnprior, Ontario manufacturing facility.
