Napoleon® Supports Heart and Brain Health Through American Heart Association’s Life Is Why Campaign

CRITTENDEN, KY – Napoleon has partnered with the American Heart Association during their Life is Why® campaign. From September 17 to November 15, 2024, Napoleon will donate $25 for every fireplace sold, pledging a total of $25,000, to advance heart and brain health initiatives. This partnership is part of Napoleon’s commitment to improving well-being and supporting healthier lives for all.

“At Napoleon, we believe that true comfort means more than warmth—it’s about enhancing well-being,” said Garry Scott, vice president of Marketing. “Napoleon’s Power of Fire project, involving academic research conducted by the University of Alabama, has shown that sitting by a fireplace helps reduce stress and lower blood pressure, reinforcing the connection between fireside relaxation and heart health. We are proud to support the American Heart Association and their life-saving work to improve heart health across the country.”

By purchasing a Napoleon fireplace during this campaign, customers will not only benefit from cutting-edge technology and a cozy atmosphere but also play a direct role in combating heart disease and stroke.

“We’re deeply grateful for companies like Napoleon that support our lifesaving mission through our Life is Why program,” said Andrea Ooten, executive director of the American Heart Association in Central and Eastern Kentucky. “Together, we can raise awareness, empower individuals to make heart-healthy choices and drive impactful change in communities across the Commonwealth and beyond.”

Donations through Life is Why campaign – allow the Association to continue life-saving work with initiatives such as:
• Funding research that can improve the health outcomes of heart and stroke patients;
• Training more than 2.5 million high school students in CPR annually;
• Supporting the work of local entrepreneurs and organizations working to improve health outcomes in under-resourced communities.

Napoleon’s dedication to this cause is further exemplified by its ongoing support for other health and wellness initiatives. By partnering with the American Heart Association, Napoleon not only helped fund critical research but also sets an example of corporate responsibility.

“We’re excited to see the collective impact of our efforts and look forward to working closely with the American Heart Association to make a tangible difference,” Scott concluded.

Through this collaboration, Napoleon aims to create a legacy of positive change and reinforce its commitment to both comfort and community well-being.
