Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet’s new Shokunin Kamado Grill features enhanced temperature control, versatility and updated design. The authorized dealer program gives a select network of barbecue stores an opportunity to differentiate their offering and become part of the Kalamazoo family.
Just like all current dealers, Kalamazoo is committed to supporting its Shokunin partners through inclusion in the online showroom locator, full support of the sales team, and zero price competition. Stores also benefit from the low investment requirement of just three units, including one to be used for an in-store display, which eliminates the need for large dedicated inventory space.
The new Shokunin is handcrafted by expert artisans in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and embodies a thoughtful take on kamado-style grilling. The Shokunin delivers complete manual control in a beautiful package.
Two full inches of insulation between two layers of stainless steel makes the grill impressively efficient—so much so that it can cook for more than 60 hours straight on just 12 pounds of charcoal while the exterior keeps cool to the touch. Its taller construction and adjustable fire grate levels, deliver optimum smoking, roasting and grilling. Plus, its rectangular shape results in a greater surface area and makes multi-zone cooking possible. The cross-flow ventilation system enables precise temperature control and delivers the ability to feed the fire on one side while drawing heat and smoke over the food to create enhanced flavors.
Kalamazoo currently distributes its outdoor kitchen line through fewer than 50 kitchen appliance showrooms in North America. The Authorized Dealer Program will be as exclusive and provide an opportunity for distinctive Specialty Barbecue Stores to further differentiate their offering with the addition of the Kalamazoo Shokunin Kamado grill.
