HIGH POINT, NC – Gabby and Summer Classics invite the High Point Market community to join them for an inspiring morning of faith and fellowship at the Gabby & Summer Classics High Point Prayer Breakfast on Sunday, April 27, at 8:30 AM.

Gabriella White partnered with Stanford Upholstery in 2020. Stanford’s founder, Randy Short, established this special event to unite the furniture industry at High Point Market. The prayer breakfast began as a tribute to his wife, who suffered a debilitating car accident that left her wheelchair-bound and required her to relearn how to walk, eat, and talk.

Believing he would be her lifelong caregiver, Randy sought to uplift her spirits by creating a prayer breakfast—an event that not only honored his wife but also brought the furniture community together in faith. The inaugural gathering drew more than 150 attendees, sparking a cherished High Point tradition.

Following Gabriella White’s acquisition of Stanford, Randy’s wife and children became part of the Gabby family. Tragically, Randy passed away a year later. To honor his legacy, William and Bew White revived the event, renaming it the Randy Short Memorial Prayer Breakfast.

With the full support of Gabriella White, the event continues to bring the furniture industry together in a meaningful way—celebrating faith, community, and the enduring impact of Randy’s vision.

This special event provides a moment for reflection, prayer, and connection among industry professionals, friends, and guests attending the market. The breakfast will take place at the Gabby & Summer Classics showroom, 333 N Hamilton St, High Point, offering a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere for all who join.
