Las Vegas Market Enhances Furniture Depth and Diversity

LAS VEGAS, NV – (June 11, 2018) - Las Vegas Market announced today that 128,000+ square feet of new, expanding and renewing home furnishings showrooms will enhance the depth and breadth of furniture resources during the Summer 2018 Las Vegas Market, running July 29 to August 2, 2018.
“Las Vegas Market continues to amplify the quality, quantity and diversity of resources in its furniture category, maintaining a commanding momentum in this already dominant segment,” said Julie Messner, senior vice president of Furniture and Home Décor Leasing, International Market Centers. “Las Vegas Market is a proven draw for the most dynamic and distinctive resources in the industry, building upon its track record by delivering an exciting, must-see shopping experience for retailers and designers alike.”

The latest additions of new, expanding and renewing exhibitors follow previously-announced gains of more than 85,000 square feet of Summer 2018 showroom space, bringing the total for the forthcoming Market to 213,000+ square feet. With continued expansion in the furniture segment fueling the strongest Market-to-Market attendance increases — 17% in the furniture sector alone during the last Winter Market — hopes are high for a robust summer edition.

Four new-to-Market furniture resources are opening Las Vegas Market showrooms, totaling 18,000 square feet of Market debuts, at Summer Market : Istikbal, providers of case goods, upholstery and accessories, in 5,900 square feet on B7; Roberto Grassie, designer and wholesaler of unique luxury furniture and accessories, in 3,474 square feet on B6; Furniture Care Protection, suppliers of cleaning, polishing and protection products, in 500 square feet on A10; and Vintage Furniture, a manufacturer of handmade furniture constructed from reclaimed wood, in 8,200 square feet on A9.

Additionally, two furniture resources are expanding their showrooms for Summer Market: Aeon Furniture, providers of dining room furniture and accessories, to 2,000 square feet on B6; and VIG Furniture, suppliers of European-inspired contemporary, modern and transitional home furnishings, to 6,200 square feet on B6.
Seven leading showrooms are extending their commitments for approximately 102,000 square feet of existing space.  The largest of these renewals is Coaster Fine Furniture, manufacturer of case goods, upholstery and accessories, in 62,000 square feet on C16.  Other renewals are: Donco Trading Company, an importer of juvenile furniture, bunk beds, loft beds, platform beds and futons on A9; Greenington, a supplier of bamboo case goods, accents and accessories on B7; Handy Living, a provider easy-to-assemble case goods, upholstery and accessories on A6; Holland House, a manufacturer of bedroom and dining room furniture on C14; Patiologic, a resource for fire pits, outdoor furniture and accessories on C12; and Propac Images, a supplier of wall décor on B7.

Las Vegas Market is the largest furniture market in the western United States, with more than 4 million square feet and 2,000+ furniture lines presented on 32 showroom floors, along with nearly 200 temporary exhibitors showcasing home furnishings on B2 and in The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market. In addition to key furniture categories, the Las Vegas Market is recognized as THE nation’s bedding market, with the top 14 producers represented, and as a growing resource for casual/outdoor furniture following its 2015 launch of two new, dedicated floors for the category. Key furniture categories presented at Las Vegas Market are: case goods, dining, upholstery, leather and casual/outdoor.
