‘Architexture’ by Richard Frinier Now Available to the Trade Through Pindler

Richard Frinier’s Architexture Collection of Sunbrella® fabrics, which showcases the designer’s strong respect and appreciation for the importance architecture plays in society, is now available to the trade through Pindler.

“We are thrilled to partner with Richard Frinier on this sophisticated collection,” says Sarah Williamson, design manager for Pindler. “One of our most requested categories by customers is indoor/outdoor fabric. We’re excited to fulfill that demand and present this collection to the design trade along with Richard’s architectural inspiration.”

The Architexture Collection echoes architectural design elements found in surface and facade design with a versatile range of textiles with distinctive constructions, textures, patterns and colors. Fabrics in the Architexture Collection enhance and complement both interior and exterior spaces; patterns include:

NYC – A synthesis of architectural forms and soaring skyscrapers, NYC translates the vertical facades of the iconic metropolis into a tapestry of urban living. NYC is available in Sand, Brick, Steel, Green, Glass and Skyline.

LA – An abstract interpretation inspired by a modern building facade in Los Angeles. LA is available in Brick, Stone, Green, Glass, Sand, Skyline, Steel and Midnight.

Hi Rise – Kowloon, a densely-populated area of Hong Kong, was the inspiration behind Hi Rise, which appears as a textured stripe of tiny windows. Hi Rise is available in Sand, Stone, Natural, Green, Steel and Skyline.

Lumas – Showcases an offset window pattern infused with reflective fiber for a shimmer that creates a sense of energy. Lumas is available in Brick, Daylight, Glass, Green, Steel, Midnight and Skyline.

Hexspace – Based on an architectural window screen Frinier saw on a French metropolitan high-rise building. Hexspace is available in Daylight, Brick, Midnight, Skyline, Stone and Green.

Linx – An adaptation of a hex-shaped facade as seen on a Shenzhen skyscraper translated into this dimensional motif. Linx is available in Daylight, Green, Glass, Midnight, System, Vapor and Steel.

Architex – Reimagined from the window wall of a New York skyscraper, Architex appears as a woven grid pattern. Architex is available in Sand, Stone, Green, Glass, Brick, Midnight and Skyline.

Surface – A honeycomb pattern originating from slate tiles that transforms into a three-dimensional fabric construction. Surface is available in Sand, Green, Vapor, Skyline, Steel, Daylight and Stone.

Struxture – A versatile construction that references the appearance of exterior surface materials and forms as the base textile for all Architexture Collection patterns. Struxture is available in Natural, Sand, Vapor, Stone, Steel, Daylight, Glass, Midnight, Skyline, Brick and Green.
